Spatial Analysis
Spatial Analysis · Across the store (existing CCTV)

The whole floor, seen from above

Use existing store CCTV to measure customer journeys, zone dwell, congestion, and location performance.

Before / After

Before and after measurement

Spatial Analysis turns scattered CCTV views into journeys, zones, dwell, and location-quality scores.

Coverage

Turn the whole floor into usable spatial data

Read where people move and where they pause across multiple cameras, then use that data for layout and merchandising decisions.

01
Main paths and bypassed paths

Separate the routes customers actually take from areas they rarely enter.

02
Zone dwell by category

Read interest, average dwell, and repeated pauses by fixture or department.

03
Layout-change validation

Compare journeys and dwell before and after changes to display or floor layout.

04
Pop-up and tenant placement

Explain location quality through exposure and dwell, not only rent or intuition.

05
Congestion and bottlenecks

Find places where flow slows too much and feed that back into operations.

06
Multi-camera stores

Connect existing CCTV views into visit-scoped, non-biometric journeys.

System

Convert CCTV views into a store map

Frames from existing CCTV are processed and discarded by the analysis PC connected to the CCTV system. What remains is session-scoped events and zone-level statistics, reconstructed as heatmaps and journey maps.

01
Create person vectors per camera

Use body and movement features, not faces, to create visit-scoped events.

02
Rebuild zones and paths

Align camera events to store zones, aisles, and dwell points on the floor plan.

03
Score the operating map

Turn a day of movement into heatmaps and location-quality scores for layout decisions.

Three steps to live
01
Use the CCTV you have

Existing coverage is the starting point. No new wiring by default.

02
Connect an analysis PC to the CCTV system

The analysis PC connects to the existing CCTV or NVR video inputs. We support installation and maintenance.

03
Read the floor

Journeys, zones, and dwell in the dashboard.

Outputs

What you learn

Spatial Analysis reads the entire floor: where people walk, where they slow, and where attention pools. From multi-camera coverage it builds customer journeys, zone-level interest and dwell, and location-quality scoring, then lays a day of movement out as a single top-down map.

01
Customer journeys

Floor-wide paths, followed across your cameras.

02
Zones and dwell

Where attention pools, as a heatmap of interest and dwell.

03
One top-down map

A full day of movement, drawn as a single picture.

04
Location quality

Scoring that turns spots into merchandising decisions.

Operating model

Install with existing CCTV or wireless cameras

Use installed CCTV first, then add wireless cameras for blind spots or temporary spaces. Confirm camera input and store zones in the app, then start measurement.

01
Check CCTV coverage

Review existing camera feeds in the app and align store zones, aisles, and priority areas.

02
Add wireless cameras

Cover gaps without making new wiring the default installation path.

03
Start spatial measurement

The analysis PC processes CCTV inputs and sends journeys, zone dwell, and heatmaps to the dashboard.

Why this product

Measure operational metrics with existing CCTV

Use the same camera input to aggregate repeated journeys, zone dwell, and congestion.

01
Customer journeys

Floor-wide paths via non-biometric Re-ID and camera switching.

02
Zones and dwell

Where attention pools, shown as a heatmap of zone interest and dwell.

03
Location quality

Scoring that turns CCTV into merchandising and layout decisions.

Private by design

Original video is processed on-site, and only the required de-identified data is transmitted.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Q1Do I need new cameras?+

Usually not. It runs on the CCTV you already have; we confirm coverage during an on-site check.

Q2Is following a journey the same as identifying a person?+

No. Journeys use non-biometric Re-ID scoped to a single visit. No faces, no templates: only session-scoped, non-biometric event records (counts, zones, dwell).

Q3Does any video leave the store?+

No. Frames are processed and discarded by the analysis PC connected to the CCTV system. Only non-biometric events and aggregate data are transmitted externally.

Q4How is it offered?+

The analysis PC, one year of measurement, dashboards, and support are provided as one package. Talk to us for a configuration for your floor.
